The Firm Development Coordinator is responsible for driving the firm’s growth through ethical, relationship-based marketing and business development initiatives. This role focuses on generating new matters by cultivating existing client relationships, expanding referral networks, and strengthening the firm’s presence within immigrant communities.
This is a non-legal position. The Firm Development Coordinator does not provide legal advice, interpret immigration law, or assist with case strategy or form preparation.
The position is remote and based in Argentina or Brazil, requiring fluent English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
Client Development & Lead Generation
- Develop and implement business development strategies tailored to the firm’s immigration practice areas, including family-based, employment-based, humanitarian, and naturalization matters.
- Generate new leads by cultivating relationships with existing and former immigration clients, including follow-up for repeat and future-eligible services.
- Identify cross-service opportunities within the firm’s client base, such as petitions for qualifying relatives, status upgrades, renewals, and naturalization eligibility.
- Maintain and expand referral networks with community organizations, religious institutions, employers, nonprofit groups, and professionals serving immigrant populations.
Immigration Marketing & Outreach
- Plan and execute ethical, compliant marketing campaigns consistent with state bar rules governing attorney advertising and solicitation.
- Draft, edit, and distribute bilingual (English/Spanish) marketing materials, including newsletters, client alerts, outreach emails, informational content, and event promotions.
- Support the promotion of immigration workshops, webinars, informational sessions, and community events.
- Ensure all marketing materials avoid legal advice and include appropriate disclaimers where required.
Community Engagement & Brand Development
- Strengthen the firm’s visibility and reputation within immigrant communities through targeted outreach and community partnerships.
- Assist in identifying and promoting speaking opportunities, educational events, and collaborative initiatives with community-based organizations.
- Support consistent branding and messaging across all client-facing communications.
CRM, Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Manage and maintain the firm’s CRM system to track leads, referrals, consultations, and conversion metrics.
- Segment client data to support targeted outreach and long-term client lifecycle engagement.
- Prepare periodic reports for firm leadership analyzing lead sources, campaign effectiveness, and growth trends.
Internal Coordination & Compliance
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and intake staff to understand service offerings and improve client intake and follow-up processes.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client information in compliance with professional responsibility standards.
- Ensure all outreach and business development activities comply with ethical rules governing immigration law practices.
