Front-end Web Developer - Remote/BR [mid-level]

We’re looking for a Front-end Web Developer with solid experience in building and maintaining fast, high-quality websites — with an emphasis on semantic HTML, clean CSS, and performance-focused development. If you enjoy working closely with designers, care about clean code, and want to create visually polished, high-performing sites using Astro, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a full-code website using Astro;
• Write high-quality, semantic HTML and modular, well-organized CSS;
• Turn Figma designs into responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect UI;
• Integrate forms and simple client-side logic using JavaScript/JSON as needed;
• Collaborate with a back-end engineer (our back end is well covered);
• Troubleshoot bugs, optimize performance and improve UX;
• Occasionally assist with basic back-end tasks (data formatting, simple endpoints, etc.);
• Maintain deployment workflows using GitHub and Cloudflare/AWS platforms.

Requirements (Nice to Have):

• Solid experience building websites from scratch;
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript;
• Experience using Astro or other static site generators (Next.js, Eleventy, etc.);
• Good eye for detail – able to translate Figma designs with precision;
• Understanding of performance, SEO, and accessibility best practices;
• Comfortable with Git, GitHub, and working asynchronously;
• Some understanding of back-end concepts and ability to support when needed;
• English proficiency (written and spoken).

Nice to have:

• Experience with Cloudflare, AWS, or similar hosting/CDN platforms;
• Familiarity with JSON data structures and third-party API integration.
