Full Stack Engineer (TypeScript) — PWA/Capacitor, Node.js, Supabase & OCR Integration

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Build the PWA in TypeScript and integrate the Capacitor native layer for device capabilities
• Design and implement the Node.js/TypeScript service layer and the Supabase data model — schema, migrations, Row-Level Security policies, Auth flows, Storage and Edge Functions
• Implement the OCR pipeline against an EU-hosted AI gateway: upload handling, asynchronous processing, confidence handling, retries and graceful failure paths
• Keep the solution inside EU data boundaries — EU provisioning, PII handling, retention and deletion rules, and clear documentation of where data lives
• Work on the Adobe Analytics instrumentation so the client can measure adoption from launch
• Deliver against a fixed six-week window: clarify requirements early, raise scope risk before it becomes a delay, and keep the work demonstrable
• Leave the project maintainable — readable code, tests where they earn their keep, and handover documentation

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with TypeScript across both frontend and backend
• Strong hands-on Node.js/TypeScript backend experience (REST API design, async processing, third-party API integration)
• Solid experience with a modern SPA framework (React, Vue, or Angular) and PWA fundamentals — service workers, caching strategies, manifest, installability
• Practical experience with Capacitor (or comparable hybrid runtimes such as Cordova/Ionic) bridging a web app to native device APIs
• Working knowledge of Supabase or Postgres-based backends: relational data modeling, authorization at the data layer (Row-Level Security or equivalent), JWT-based auth, object storage, serverless functions
• Experience integrating AI or OCR/document-processing APIs into a production feature — handling latency, partial results, confidence thresholds and error states, not just calling an endpoint
• Awareness of GDPR / EU data residency implications in day-to-day technical decisions
• Demonstrated ability to deliver in a short, time-boxed engagement: self-directed, comfortable deciding with incomplete information, proactive about flagging risk
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) - Eliminatory.
