What you'll do day-to-day
Testing & Validation: Structure and execute lab tests to validate and certify new hardware devices (telematics, AI cameras, etc.) ensuring they meet Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)’s quality standards.
Analysis & Documentation: Validate technical specifications, run quality checklists and document results clearly and consistently.
Lab Setup: Build and maintain lab setups, configuring the test environments needed to simulate real-world usage scenarios.
Data Analysis: Compile test data, organize spreadsheets and prepare reports to communicate results and provide visibility on device performance.
Specialist Support: Provide technical support to the Customer Support team to troubleshoot complex customer cases, deeply investigating hardware behavior.
Knowledge Management: Document solutions for complex cases and learnings from tests, collaborating with your leader to spread this knowledge internally.
IoT Ecosystem: Work directly with Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)’s IoT ecosystem, including embedded AI cameras and devices that report speed, location, ignition and more.
What we need from you
Prerequisites
Education: Technical or bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics or related fields.
Technical Knowledge: Knowledge in electronics (components, circuits, etc.) with hands-on experience assembling lab setups and familiarity with technical documentations.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with multiple areas and document procedures.
Data Analysis: Data analysis skills with ability to format spreadsheets and compile results.
Profile: Proactive, organized and naturally curious about IoT, particularly applied to telematics and video.
Nice to have
Programming: Basic programming logic (Python, for example) for test automation, API consumption or scripting.
Databases: SQL knowledge for queries.
Specific Experience: Previous work with vehicle telematics devices, embedded cameras or automotive communication protocols (e.g. CAN).
Artificial Intelligence: Interest and familiarity with AI tools to optimize tasks and analysis.
