HIL Validation Engineer:

Role Overview: The role involves model-based software development for automotive Body Control Modules (BCM) and related ECUs using MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow. The developer will work on design, development, integration, and validation of software features for body electronics systems such as lighting, wipers, door locks, smart key, and comfort functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Model-Based Development (MBD): Develop MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow models following MAAB guidelines and perform auto-code generation using Embedded Coder.

Requirement Analysis: Analyze functional specifications and create traceability between requirements and models.

Testing & Validation: Execute MIL, SIL, and Back-to-Back testing using Simulink Test and TPT, perform coverage analysis and apply design verifier tools.

Automation & Process Improvement: Utilize scripts for function packaging, signal property updates, and DD creation to reduce manual effort.

Collaboration: Work in Agile/Scrum teams, participate in customer calls, and support peer reviews.

Required Skills:

Technical: MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coder.

Tools: Design Verifier, Coverage Analyzer, Vector CANoe, Lauterbach debugger.

• Protocols: CAN, LIN. • Standards: AUTOSAR (Application Layer), MISRA C.

Testing: MIL, SIL, B2B testing experience.

Additional Tools: DOORS, JIRA, Git, Enterprise Architect.
