Essential Job Functions:
- Interface with applicable internal (company) and external (client) departments to gather information and provide input on all matters affecting the measurement of operations performance;
- Evaluates and identify potential opportunities for improvements, including analyzing client satisfaction, and ensure excellent service;
- Maintain a very clear and accurate communication with Clients, Vendors and Origin Stations;
- Follow up own daily performance reports to accomplish the goals;
- Feed the system properly in order to keep Import-related KPIs up to date and well organized;
- Provide quotes/costs when required.
Other Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Knowledgeable of international operations and freight/logistics optimization;
- Excellent planning, time management, collaboration, decision making, organization, and presentation;
- Ability to develop and document processes and procedures;
- Strong team player, able to collaborate with stakeholders, engage senior management, and handle conflicts professionally and flexibly.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft office pack (Outlook, Excell, Word).
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in International Business/Logistic or related field;
- Minimum 2 years related experience.
