Role Purpose

The Instructional Designer is responsible for developing educational solutions, including a detailed schedule of learning objects to be created by the content analyst team, following predefined methodologies and strategies. The ID conducts client briefings, ensures quality, and oversees on-time delivery of all learning components.

Key Accountabilities

Analysis, Research & Requirements Gathering

  • Conduct analysis, research, and collection of requirements and resources.
  • Participate in client briefings to fully understand project needs.

Educational Structure & Team Coordination

  • Oversee the entire educational structure, coordinating with all team members to ensure clarity and alignment.
  • Ensure project outcomes meet client expectations within agreed timelines.

Instructional Planning & Development

  • Create instructional plans and schedules.
  • Develop teaching plans and supervise onsite training events.

Internal Development & Client Interaction

  • Participate in internal training for self-development.
  • Potentially monitor client onsite activities.
  • Interact directly with clients during project development, supporting content creators and guiding the team on educational technical content.

Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • Postgraduate studies in Instructional Design or Neuroscience preferred.
  • Previous experience as an Instructional Designer.

Instructional Design Expertise

  • Proficient in designing educational solutions, behavior-based learning paths, and events.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theories, self-directed learning, neurolearning, and learning methodologies.
  • Experience with learner‑centered experience design, including UX methods, Design Thinking, and the use of AI in instructional design.

Skills

  • Risk and instructional constraints analysis.
  • Experience mapping, learning objective definition, resource/media selection, and instructional matrix detailing.

Additional Experience

Experience with training facilitation is an advantage.
