About the Role
We are looking for an IT Project Delivery Expert to lead end-to-end delivery of technical projects within a Data Center (IDC) environment. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise in cabling and infrastructure, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery Management
- Lead end-to-end technical delivery of IT projects, including module construction, network deployment, decommissioning, and ad-hoc cabling. Work closely with IDC delivery and operations teams, vendors, procurement, supply chain, and network teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, safely, and with high quality.
- Site Inspection & Coordination: Perform on-site inspections and monitor project progress based on regional TPM requirements. Validate project dependencies and construction progress, providing timely updates and feedback.
- Technical Planning & Documentation: Develop detailed cabling and equipment installation (racking) plans based on SOW, network architecture, and technical standards.Prepare material lists, service scope documentation, and other required deliverables.
Requirements Project Management
- Strong project management knowledge with the ability to independently manage complex projects
- Experience guiding team members and driving project execution
- Familiarity with structured project workflows and delivery processes
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple teams
Cabling & Technical Expertise
- Solid understanding of structured cabling processes, quality standards, and safety requirements
- Knowledge of key control points in cabling projects and ability to apply corrective actions
- Familiarity with cabling materials and their applications
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide guidance to stakeholders
- Experience contributing to SOP development and process improvements
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in:
- Structured cabling
- Low-voltage engineering
- IT project delivery (Data Center preferred)
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus
Languages
- Proficiency in English or Mandarin (Chinese) is required
