Junior Analyst – Internal Control

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Analyst - Internal Control to join our team. This role will support the development and maintenance of strong internal controls, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. This is what you will do

• Support process mapping and documentation of risks and controls.
• Perform routine internal control testing and document results and evidence.
• Monitor basic control and operational risk indicators and escalate deviations when needed.
• Follow up on action plans related to control gaps, non-compliance, and audit findings.
• Maintain internal control documentation, risk matrices, and process flows.
• Assist in preparing periodic internal controls reports.
• Support internal teams with questions related to procedures, controls, and policies.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory requests by organizing documentation and evidence.

Qualification & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Law, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of Central Bank regulations for Payment Institutions.
• Initial experience or internship in internal controls, audit, risk management, or compliance.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Collaborative mindset and clear communication skills.
• Native level of Portuguese and intermediate level in English.
