Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) is currently recruiting for:
Technician III, R&D Microbiology
This position reports to R&D Microbiology Manager. Based in São José dos Campos – SP, in a 100% on site working arrangement.
- Active participation in routine microbiology laboratory activities, including microorganism maintenance, growth promotion, biological indicator qualification, and equipment qualification and calibration.
- Support in and preparation for sterilization of materials, as well as preparation of culture media and reagents.
- Responsible for inventory control and purchasing of materials.
- Development and qualification of test methods for finished products and raw materials to support microbiological claims and demonstrations.
- Preparation of technical rationales to support investigations.
- Knowledge of microbiological standards and regulations to support internal and external audit processes
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and global teams.
- Effective collaboration with project team members, adhering to priorities, checkpoints, and timelines to support project objectives.
- Proactive mindset focused on identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum technical degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or food industry is required, with a strong background in microbiology.
- Proven experience in test method qualification, test method transfer, and laboratory investigations is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, along with intermediate proficiency in English.
- Experience with consumer products, including self-care, skin care, skin cleansers, hair care, oral care, and/or baby care products, is highly preferred.
