ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
Lead Life Cycle Engineer is Responsible for service provisioning and the end-to-end lifecycle of network security, shared infrastructure, SD-WAN, and other cloud security solutions.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of network services (LAN wired/wireless, WAN, SD-WAN, network security, and shared infrastructure) from provisioning to decommissioning at airports and gateways.
- Lead implementation and deployment of airport network and security infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, firewalls, and Versa SD-WAN solutions.
- Provide expert-level support for complex network and security incidents when required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including GEOs, to validate design documents, implement, and optimize network services aligned with business and customer needs.
- Oversee service provisioning to ensure timely, accurate delivery and adherence to quality and operational standards.
- Non-intrusive resiliency testing, timely audit security and configuration parameters aligned with engineering guidelines, drive proactive continuous service improvements.
- Manage changes and enhancements to network and security services, mitigating risks and minimizing operational disruption.
- Drive migration management activities, including root cause analysis and service improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies, provide guidance and training to operational teams, and support 24/7 operations and on-call activities as required.
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Mandatory Security Associate–level certification and Professional-level SD-WAN certification.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- 8–10 years of proven experience managing the end-to-end lifecycle of network services, including provisioning, monitoring, optimization, and decommissioning.
- Strong knowledge of network service lifecycle management, service models, SLAs, and network management tools.
- Hands-on experience in network service design, implementation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes within network operations.
- Strong working knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF; EIGRP and RIP as a plus).
- Strong working knowledge of network and security technologies, including VTP, STP/RSTP/PVST, HSRP, and firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto).
- Experience with Cisco and Juniper routers and switches, data center technologies (Cisco Nexus, ACI), and SD-WAN solutions (Versa preferred), with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and support operational teams.
