Summary
Provide technical support and engineering solutions for internal and external customers, ensuring safe and efficient operations while driving continuous improvement and collaborating across functions to deliver customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement of technical processes, tools, and procedures
- Provide technical support for customer issues related to Overhaul & Repair, after-market equipment performance, rig stoppages, and service agreements
- Review inspection report findings to define maintenance, installation and commissioning (I&C), and recertification scopes, plans & requirements
- Develop, implement, and deploy technical solutions
- Lead and support project-related technical efforts, including root-cause analysis and resolution of issues
- Promote knowledge sharing and support to peers
- Ensure adherence to procedures and standards
- Deliverables
- Technical (dispositioning) reports and repair plans
- Technical Input to Quotation
- Certificates, statements of facts
- Maintain ticket records in accordance with quality assurance procedures
- Accurately record execution hours in the system
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, or Production with relevant technical course)
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant technical level experience
- Past experience in riser inspection and maintenance
- Knowledge of Blowout Preventer (BOP) and topside equipment maintenance and operations.
- Active CREA registration
