Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Brazil to design, develop, and integrate embedded Linux and telematics software across product platforms. This role focuses on hands-on engineering work, ensuring modular, scalable solutions that align with Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)’s global electronics strategy. You will also act as the local contact point for the Technology team.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate embedded Linux and telematics software into vehicle platforms.
- Write, review, and validate code to meet functional and safety requirements.
- Ensure modular, reusable, and maintainable software implementations.
- Collaborate with IT, electrical, mechanical, and test engineers for seamless integration.
- Define validation strategies, create test plans, and support field validation.
- Apply systems engineering principles (requirements, risk analysis, FMEA).
- Maintain internal software libraries and reusable components.
- Use and support development tools such as Git, CodeBeamer, and Qt.
- Document designs, processes, and test results for traceability and compliance.
- Support continuous improvement in CI/CD and coding standards.
- Ensure safe practices during testing and commissioning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in embedded software, HMI systems, and cloud-connected devices.
- Strong knowledge of C++, Qt, Python, Linux, IoT frameworks, and cloud platforms (Azure, REST APIs, MQTT).
- Experience with Git, Docker, CodeBeamer, and PLM/PDM systems.
- Fluent in English.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Android/iOS platforms.
- Familiarity with ThingWorx and advanced IoT solutions.
- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or ISO standards.
