We are looking for a Lead SSO Migration Engineer to drive the end-to-end transition of enterprise Single Sign-On from Okta to Microsoft Entra ID. You will partner with security and application stakeholders to deliver secure, low-disruption cutovers and strong operational handover. Apply to help modernize our IAM platform.
Responsibilities
- Plan the end-to-end migration of SSO configurations, applications, and user access from Okta to Microsoft Entra ID
- Design target-state Entra ID SSO patterns and define per-application migration approaches
- Analyze existing Okta integrations and map requirements to Entra ID implementations
- Coordinate with application owners, security teams, and stakeholders to schedule cutovers and minimize disruption
- Configure and validate SAML and OpenID Connect integrations in Entra ID
- Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and provisioning issues during and after migration
- Create and maintain migration documentation, runbooks, and support materials
- Deliver knowledge transfer and training to internal teams on Entra ID SSO operations
Requirements
- 5+ years of identity and access management (IAM) experience in enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Okta Workforce Identity and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) integrations
- Lead-level experience coordinating cross-team migrations and technical decision-making
- Proven project experience planning and executing SSO migration initiatives with minimal disruption
- Strong protocol knowledge of SAML and OpenID Connect flows and troubleshooting
- Strong troubleshooting skills for authentication, authorization, and user provisioning issues
- Strong communication skills to align stakeholders and explain technical changes clearly
- Strong documentation skills for creating runbooks, migration plans, and support materials
- Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)

- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator, Okta Certified Professional)
- Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud identity solutions
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance requirements
