Role Description & Responsibilities:

As a License Compliance Investigator, you will join our License Compliance LATAM team in Sao Paulo, playing a pivotal role in protecting Dassault Systèmes’ intellectual property and contractual interests, while at the same time protecting the relationship with the customer by finding mutual agreement to resolve the piracy /non-compliance matter. You will investigate software misuse, engage with customers and enforcement authorities, and drive resolutions with integrity and professionalism.

  • Detect and analyze software misuse and contractual breaches using data and technology tools.
  • Manage complex compliance cases, ensuring timely follow-up and escalation.
  • Negotiate and secure settlements with customers and partners, balancing firmness and diplomacy.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and external partners to coordinate compliance actions.
  • Present evidence and engage confidently with stakeholders, upholding high ethical standards.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 4–5 years of experience in investigation, compliance, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of software licensing, intellectual property rights, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and case management skills.
  • Fluency in English, Portuguese.

Preferred:

  • Technical understanding of software licensing models and usage tracking tools.
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Proven track record in resolving non-compliance cases and securing settlements.
  • Experience with law enforcement or trade bodies in compliance/anti-piracy actions.
