Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Líder de Logística to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for receiving and processing customer orders, managing the bill of materials for the warehouse, and overseeing invoicing activities, including advance billing when applicable. This role also manages materials awaiting import, ensures continuous updates of delivery lead times in the system, and proactively communicates with customers regarding delays and/or delivery advancements.
The role is also responsible for purchasing imported materials from WMFTG factories based on system-driven material planning and/or sales forecasts approved by the General Manager. Responsibilities include international shipping logistics, import KPIs, daily backlog, billing, and forecasting, as well as leading and supporting the team.
What You Will Do
Access orders received via email or purchasing portals and verify order details for invoice issuance.
Ensure orders align with approved quotations before entering them into the system.
Identify and communicate order discrepancies to responsible parties for resolution.
Verify correct tax application in accordance with applicable legislation.
Confirm that freight carrier information has been properly provided.
Once orders are issued, generate picking lists for shipment through the AX system.
Monitor and update the list of pending orders daily, including orders not yet invoiced.
Report billing information to the General Manager and Operations Manager.
Send order confirmations and electronic invoices (NF-e) to customers via email.
Keep customers informed of delivery timelines by maintaining accurate system dates and communicating delays or early deliveries.
Purchase imported materials from WMFTG factories using system material planning and/or approved sales forecasts.
Perform daily follow-up on materials pending import.
Ensure the continuous flow of daily orders and invoicing activities.
Support customers and sales teams within the assigned area of responsibility.
Plan and manage import logistics activities.
Prepare daily backlog and forecast reports.
Develop and track import-related KPIs.
Issue invoices (billing) and provide customer support related to issued invoices.
Lead the team and provide support across departmental activities.
Compliance & Quality
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14000, and EHS standards, in accordance with periodic training requirements.

What You Need to Be Successful in This Role
Degree in Industrial, Production, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Foreign Trade, Business Administration, or Accounting.
Experience in an industrial environment.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics and/or supply chain.
Experience working with ERP systems.
Intermediate English proficiency (desirable).
