A day in the life:

The International Logistics Specialist – Brazil at Monster Energy Company plays a dynamic and thrilling role in fueling the company's global operations. This position is all about turbocharging the day-to-day international logistics activities, ensuring seamless movement of raw materials and finished goods. With a laser focus on purchase order execution, shipment readiness, document accuracy, and delivery performance, this specialist is a powerhouse of efficiency and precision. As a pivotal member of the Global Logistics team, they energize the alignment between vendors, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to meet delivery commitments, compliance requirements, and inventory availability. Operating in a high-octane, cross-border environment, the role demands exceptional attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and disciplined system execution, all essential to drive Monster Energy's mission forward with relentless passion and commitment.

The impact you’ll make:

  • Purchase Order Execution and Vendor Coordination: Manage end-to-end execution of raw material shipping requests and related purchase orders, ensuring alignment between quantities, delivery dates, Incoterms, units of measure, and contractual conditions. Confirm purchase orders with vendors and proactively track, monitor, and expedite orders in coordination with freight forwarders and internal logistics teams. Act as the primary operational interface to secure shipment readiness, adherence to delivery commitments, and mitigation of supply risks.

  • Shipment Monitoring, Delivery Performance and Inventory Protection: Monitor international shipments against planned milestones and production schedules, identifying potential delays, stock out risks, or service level impacts. Take immediate corrective actions including expediting, escalation, or issue resolution to protect inventory availability and ensure timely delivery of goods in line with production and demand requirements.

  • Documentation Accuracy, Trade Compliance and Customs Coordination: Review, organize, prepare, and validate all purchasing, shipping, import, and export documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance prior to shipment. Support customs clearance processes, audit requirements, and local regulatory obligations. Coordinate and request advance payments when required for customs clearance, duties, taxes, or other regulatory needs, ensuring all documentation is properly archived in accordance with record retention policies.

  • System Updates, Visibility and Planning Accuracy: Maintain real time and accurate updates of delivery dates, shipment milestones, and logistics status in SAP and related systems to ensure operational visibility and effective planning. Safeguard data integrity to support cross functional alignment across Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and Production.

  • Stakeholder Management and Regional Coordination: Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal cross functional teams. Serve as a key logistics point of contact for Latin America based vendors and regional stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, alignment of expectations, and disciplined follow up on commitments.

  • Continuous Improvement and Process Enhancement: Identify recurring execution gaps, systemic issues, or process inefficiencies within international logistics flows. Recommend and support implementation of process enhancements, contribute to Global Logistics initiatives, and assist in the development and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and regional standardization efforts.

Who you are:

  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field preferred.
  • Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in International logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
  • Computer Skills Desired: Working knowledge of SAP (MM, SD, or logistics execution modules preferred) Proficient in Microsoft Excel, additional systems or analytics experience a plus.
  • Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Strong understanding of international shipping documentation and customs processes.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English (Spanish a plus).
