The impact you will have in this role:
As the Senior Financial Analyst at the Jarinu, Brazil plant, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Having the opportunity to stand up the financial processes listed below at Sumare, which is a brand-new manufacturing site for Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)
- Providing strategic and operational financial leadership to the Sumare Plant team and direct support to the Plant Director
- Being a strong business partner supporting the plant financial scorecard, continuous improvement initiatives, inventory/production analysis, and other short- to long term plant financial decisions
- Leading weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual processes to support plant rhythms, month end close activities, QORs/MREs, OP and Strat Plans
- Collaborating with the business segments and Global Supply Chain organizations to support investment analysis at the site
- Analyzing plant spend and work with the teams to identify, communicate and execute productivity improvement opportunities
- Regularly measuring and assessing plant performance (weekly/monthly/quarterly) to predict results and drive corrective actions to meet targets
- Developing understanding of impacts to the plant financials driven by sales volume, mix, demand planning and supply planning dynamics to drive productivity at the site
- Monitoring external economic factors to support the plant management decision process
- Developing and driving end-to-end processes, analyses, and tools to standardize reporting to support the site
- Ensuring compliance to Global Financial Standards and Statutory requirements
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Three to five (3-5) years of finance experience within Manufacturing
- Proficient in English
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- CPA, CMA or equivalent international certification
- Masters Degree or diploma on Finances
- Experience in the MedTech Industry
- Responsible for Income Statements
- Leadership and collaboration skills to engage with business stakeholders and drive alignment on financial assumptions
- Ability to lead through others and influence
- Previous experience in AS400/BPCS ERP
- Pragmatic, results-oriented with a strong bias towards executing with speed, agility, and quality
- Record of career progression with increasing levels of responsibility
Work location:
- Hybrid (Jarinu, Brazil) 3x per week
- Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international
