    MARKET RISK REPORTING OFFICER (HYBRID PORTO)

    Role Overview
    The Market Risk Operations team is responsible for providing functional support and monitoring of market risk activities. The team focuses strongly on data quality, ensuring that market risk systems are fed with accurate, timely, and reliable data.

    The role is based in Porto and involves working closely with Risk Analysts, internal systems users, and senior stakeholders, contributing to the production of market risk metrics, data quality KPIs, and reporting materials used by management and governance committees.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Produce and control data quality metrics related to market risk activities
    • Build, maintain, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on data quality, including timeliness and accuracy of daily risk indicators
    • Investigate data quality issues detected through KPIs and contribute to their resolution
    • Coordinate with other teams and stakeholders during incident resolution
    • Streamline, document, and improve existing operational processes, contributing to their industrialisation
    • Prepare materials and reporting to support management and governance committees
    • Build strong working relationships with Risk Analysts and internal clients
    • Actively contribute within an Agile team, supporting deliveries and cross-team collaboration
    • Provide training and guidance to new system users when required
    Technical Skills (Mandatory)
    • SQL knowledge – mandatory
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
    • English – Expert level (written and spoken)
    Technical Skills (Nice to Have)
    • Knowledge of Python
    • Understanding of financial instruments, such as Stocks, Bonds, Swaps, Options, etc.
    • Familiarity with Agile frameworks

    Soft Skills
    • Strong self-motivation and proactive mindset, with the ability to identify improvement opportunities
    • Genuine interest in Market and Financial topics, including market dynamics, regulatory changes, and financial products
