We are looking for an experienced Mechanic Technician to work offshore on FPSO/FSO units in Brazil. You will be part of the engine department, supporting safe and reliable operation of all mechanical systems and equipment on board.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment (pumps, compressors, winches, valves, engines and auxiliary machinery)
- Assist in planned maintenance routines and follow work orders and checklists
- Support start-up, shutdown and testing of machinery as required
- Ensure correct use of tools, spare parts and materials, keeping work areas clean and safe
- Follow all onboard safety procedures and reporting routines
Requirements
- Technical education as Mechanical Technician or equivalent
- Previous offshore or marine experience, preferably on FPSO/FSO or similar units
- Good knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance at sea
- Valid offshore certificates as required in Brazil
- Ability to work in a rotation system and in an international crew
- Good communication skills in English
