We are looking for a Molecular Biology Researcher to join our team and transform science into applied field solutions.If you are driven by scientific curiosity, innovation, and research with real impact, this opportunity is for you.
What will you do here?
You will work in collaboration with the Product Development Team and the Agronomic Institute of Campinas (IAC), contributing directly to projects in molecular biology and plant biotechnology.
In your scope of work, you will:
- Lead the development of vectors, constructs, and molecular assays, including high-throughput platforms;
- Conduct plant characterization activities;
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, supporting technical reports and presentations;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and protocols.
Technical Requirements:
- Degree in Molecular Biology, Plant Biotechnology, Genetics, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in the industry.
- Fluent English (written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.
- Strong experience in vector design, gene expression analysis, and molecular assay development, including high-throughput assay platforms.
- Availability to work in person in Ribeirão Preto/SP, Brazil.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a proactive attitude and external mindset for continuous improvement and scientific curiosity.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in cross-functional teams.
- PhD or Master's degree in related fields.
- Experience in agricultural biotechnology.
- Experience in developing agricultural biotechnology traits or products.
- Experience in genetic transformation and tissue culture of sugarcane, energy cane, and sorghum.
- Good knowledge of regulatory and management requirements for genetically modified plants or other organisms.
