We are looking for a Network Security Engineering Manager to strengthen hybrid cloud and on-prem network security for an Oil & Gas client in Houston. You will guide secure design and day-to-day network security across AWS and Azure while keeping critical connectivity resilient across environments. Join the team and apply today

Responsibilities

  • Lead hybrid network security architecture across cloud and on-prem connectivity
  • Design AWS networking and security controls for VPCs, routing, Security Groups, WAF, and connectivity
  • Implement Azure network security using VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, and Application Gateway
  • Configure and maintain firewalls, prioritizing Palo Alto and supporting Cisco ASA/Firepower as needed
  • Integrate SASE and web filtering solutions such as Prisma Access to enforce secure access
  • Deploy and optimize load balancing solutions using F5, A10, or cloud equivalents
  • Troubleshoot complex TCP/IP, DNS, and NAT issues to restore services quickly
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to align security controls with Oil & Gas operational needs

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in network security across enterprise environments
  • Demonstrated leadership capability to steer network security standards and technical decisions
  • Proven project delivery experience for hybrid cloud and on-prem connectivity initiatives
  • Advanced AWS networking and security skills, including VPCs, routing, Security Groups, WAF and connectivity
  • Working knowledge of Azure networking, including VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall and Application Gateway
  • Practical firewall expertise with Palo Alto preferred; Cisco ASA/Firepower acceptable
  • Working knowledge of load balancers such as F5, A10 or cloud equivalents
  • Experience with SASE and web filtering, including Prisma Access or similar solutions
  • Strong TCP/IP networking fundamentals, including DNS and NAT
  • Proven troubleshooting skills for complex network and connectivity incidents
  • Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2, Upper-Intermediate)
