Oracle Funcional Consultant Projects Cloud

Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) Brazil is looking for professionals with the profile of Oracle Funcional Consultant Projects Cloud to join our team

Main activities and responsibilities:

• Provide day‑to‑day functional support for Oracle Projects Cloud in a critical AMS operation, ensuring continuity and accuracy of project financial and operational processes.
• Analyze and resolve incidents related to project costing, billing, revenue recognition, budget control, and accounting event generation.
• Monitor and support project execution flows, validating project statuses, task structures, cost collection, accounting outcomes, and downstream financial impact.
• Support business users in operational activities such as project setup adjustments, task maintenance, budget updates, expenditure corrections, and project data validations.
• Troubleshoot issues related to FBDI loads, ESS job failures, OTBI/BI Publisher extracts, integration errors, and project data inconsistencies.
• Validate and maintain Projects Cloud configurations, ensuring alignment with project financial policies, costing rules, billing setups, and business requirements.
• Execute functional testing, including regression tests for Oracle quarterly updates and changes that may impact Projects Cloud processes and integrations.
• Perform functional impact analysis for configuration changes, small enhancements, or integration updates affecting Projects Cloud and related Financials modules.
• Collaborate with technical teams to diagnose integration impacts involving OIC, ODI, REST/SOAP services, and integrations with GL, AP, AR, Procurement, and upstream systems.
• Maintain clear functional documentation, including incident records, root‑cause analysis, project process guides, test evidence, and configuration tracking.
• Provide knowledge transfer and functional guidance to junior team members and business users when required.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience working with Oracle Projects Cloud in enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of project financial management processes, including project costing, project billing, project revenue, budgeting, and project lifecycle management.
• Hands‑on experience with Projects Cloud functional configuration, such as Project Units, Business Units, Project Types, Project Templates, Task Structures, Resource Breakdown Structures (RBS), and Burdening Configurations.
• Good understanding of project cost and accounting concepts, including expenditure types, expenditure categories, cost collection, cost distribution, burden costs, and accounting events.
• Experience analyzing and resolving incidents related to project cost issues, billing errors, revenue recognition problems, budget control exceptions, and accounting inconsistencies within Projects Cloud.
• Familiarity with FBDI, ESS jobs, OTBI, and BI Publisher reports for project data loads, transactional processing, and operational/project financial reporting.
• Experience working in AMS environments, supporting incidents, service requests, root‑cause analysis, and minor functional enhancements within Oracle Projects Cloud.
• Ability to perform functional testing, regression cycles, and impact analysis during Oracle Cloud quarterly updates affecting Projects Cloud configurations and processes.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with technical teams (OIC/ODI, REST/SOAP integrations) during troubleshooting of Projects Cloud integrations with Financials (GL, AP, AR, Assets) and upstream systems.
• Strong documentation abilities for functional procedures, SOPs, test cases, configuration workbooks, and support logs related to Oracle Projects Cloud.
