Job Purpose
Responsible for developing and executing sales budget proposals, analyzing the feasibility of product and service applications according to client requests, and considering specific technical standards and guidelines. The role aims to size the business regarding costs and quantities involved. Responsible for developing and updating technical descriptive standards for products to serve as inputs for technical proposals.

• Detailed Description

Monitor product costs and update RFA (Request for Application).

• Develop product descriptions, ensuring they are updated within the RFA.
• Analyze documentation for proposal preparation and determine the best technology to be utilized.
• Validate the product list with the Product Support area based on received documentation.
• Conduct research on specifications, technical consultations, and pricing for alternative materials.
• Perform various calculations (hydraulic, dimensional, and volumetric), detailing operational aspects and resources used to size the project in terms of costs, equipment quantities, infrastructure materials, and man-hours for project execution.
• Provide technical support to the Procurement team for the acquisition of local products (quoting and pre-negotiating commercial conditions for items that will compose the solution).
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals supported by the RFA tool.
• Assist clients by resolving technical doubts related to the presented commercial proposals.
• Provide support to the Sales area and Project Coordinators regarding activities related to ongoing proposals.
• Support the development of potential business by providing estimated system pricing for resource gathering and subsequent client investment.
• Monitor open processes to develop and update control spreadsheets.
• Save files, documents, and relevant approvals in specific process folders.
• Deliver proposals within the agreed deadline, entering information into the control spreadsheet.
• Request special pricing from SPR suppliers and indicate these in the RFA and the proposal control spreadsheet.
• Register SKUs according to technical descriptions and costs received from the technical, tax, and procurement teams.
• Participate in handover meetings for finalized projects.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture.

• Experience & Skills

Minimum of 2 years in the budgeting/estimating area; 1 year within the company with extensive knowledge in one or more systems handled by the organization (Flame and Gas, Detection and Alarm, Suppression — water, foam, and gases).

• Knowledge of ERP (JDE preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Intermediate English for reading.
