Principal Data Analyst at Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Data Analyst to define and lead the data analysis strategy across the organization. You will oversee SQL-based analyses, statistical modeling, visualization, and reporting initiatives, ensuring enterprise-wide insights are accurate, actionable, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate combines hands-on analytical expertise with strategic vision, mentoring teams, setting standards, and driving data-driven decision-making at scale.

What You'll Do:

  • Define and lead the data analysis strategy across the organization.
  • Oversee the design and execution of SQL queries, statistical analyses, and modeling initiatives.
  • Ensure accuracy, reliability, and scalability of enterprise analytics and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports for enterprise stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to align data insights with organizational goals.
  • Establish best practices, standards, and governance for analytics, reporting, and data quality.
  • Mentor and guide data analysts, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
  • Influence enterprise-wide decisions using insights derived from data analytics.

What we are looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience in data analysis, SQL, statistical analysis, visualization, and reporting.
  • Strong background in software architecture design.
  • Strong understanding of system security.
  • In-depth knowledge of memory management and performance optimization.
  • Experience in designing and integrating distributed and scalable solutions, particularly in cloud environments.
  • Skilled in relational and non-relational databases.
  • Ability to choose between different architectures/technologies, understanding the pros and cons of each.
  • Expert in managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Advanced level of English.
