Principal QA Engineer at Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal QA Engineer to define and lead the quality assurance strategy across enterprise applications and distributed systems. You will architect test frameworks, oversee test automation and CI/CD quality practices, and ensure that large-scale software systems meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and security. The ideal candidate combines deep technical QA expertise with strategic vision, influencing QA culture and practices across the organization.

What You'll Do:

• Define and lead QA strategy for enterprise applications and distributed systems.
• Architect and implement scalable, maintainable, and automated testing frameworks.
• Oversee CI/CD testing processes to ensure continuous quality and rapid release cycles.
• Establish organization-wide best practices and standards for QA and test automation.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to embed quality throughout development lifecycles.
• Lead enterprise-wide testing initiatives, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Mentor QA teams and influence a culture of quality-first development across the organization.
• Evaluate and integrate advanced QA tools and technologies to improve coverage, efficiency, and reliability.

What we are looking for:

• 10+ years of experience with QA and testing, including automation and enterprise applications.
• Strong background in software architecture design.
• Strong understanding of system security.
• In-depth knowledge of memory management and performance optimization.
• Experience in designing and integrating distributed and scalable solutions, particularly in cloud environments.
• Skilled in relational and non-relational databases.
• Ability to choose between different architectures/technologies, understanding the pros and cons of each.
• Expert in managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Advanced level of English.
