OB SUMMARY
The Program Manager is an experienced professional who leads quality assurance programs, services, and initiatives across multiple products and platforms. This role is responsible for driving delivery excellence, ensuring effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, and supporting business goals through quality insights and program execution. The Program Manager partners closely with development leads, product teams, and regional partners to manage schedules, risks, requirements, and KPIs throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC). They lead continuous improvement efforts, develop reporting tools and influence change, and play a critical role in driving program success and delivering high-quality player experiences.


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Manage QA programs, services, and initiatives across multiple products and platforms, ensuring delivery excellence and timely reporting.
  • Lead and support cross-functional projects and initiatives with internal teams and regional partners, managing schedules, scope, risks, and KPIs.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts and adoption of best practices across teams.
  • Develop reporting metrics and create visualizations to inform quality and business outcomes.
  • Facilitate meetings to communicate updates, influence change, provide training, and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with development leads and deliver high-impact quality-related services.
  • Foster a culture of trust, inclusivity, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Ensure requirements and risks are actively managed throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Contribute to master test plan development and QA strategy alignment.
  • Assist in creating the development of knowledge and skills in others through training, mentoring, and constructive feedback.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience in QA, Engineering, Product/Program Management or a similar role is required.
  • Experience performing as a scrum master, product owner, or program manager.
  • Experience in coaching scrum teams and stakeholders on new ways of working, including known methodologies and new trends in software development and project management.
  • Experience leading teams or projects where there is a direct or indirect leadership role.


Knowledge & Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Ability to follow defined project management processes, organize software development teams, establish a welcoming working environment (office and remote).
  • Knowledge of Confluence, JIRA, Microsoft Office apps (including Project and Visio).
  • Experience in coaching scrum teams and stakeholders on new ways of working, including known methodologies and new trends in software development and project management.
  • Ability to solve unexpected problems, prioritize work for a cross-functional team, identify and mitigate risks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to tailor presented information for the appropriate audience.


EXTRA POINTS

  • Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), specifically QA processes in agile and waterfall development environments.
  • Experience with software development and testing methodologies and tools.
  • IT or software testing certifications.
  • Coding knowledge: XML/HTML, JavaScript, Python, Java, C/C++/C#, SQL
  • Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master and/or Product Owner, ISTQB.
  • Familiarity with Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) line of products and services.
  • High level of gaming knowledge and/or skill.
  • Passion for Blizzard’s line of products and services.
