Quality System Analyst

Summary:

The Quality System Analyst is responsible for monitoring all aspects of compliance and maintenance of the Quality Management System according to ISO standards, global quality processes, and other quality standards. This role also participates in internal and external audits, manages procedures, non-conformities in internal processes, indicators, and continuous improvement for the site.

Please note that this role requires on-site presence five days per week, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure the organization complies with the requirements of the Quality Policy and Quality Manual according to the current ISO 9001 standard and Global procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with other standards relevant to Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) and the Itatiba site, such as Halal, Kosher, EFfCI, FSSC 22000, RSPO, among others.

  • Execute and lead actions for the implementation of new standards when necessary and approved by Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados).

  • Promote awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.

  • Manage customer complaints, with periodic reviews and follow-ups, aiming for clear and objective closure in the shortest possible time.

  • Execute and coordinate internal quality audits, as well as external certification and customer audits. Participate and support root cause investigations of non-conformities, as well as proposals for corrective and preventive actions and their closure.

  • Support other areas in introducing new procedures into the internal system (SisDoc).

  • Analyze and release specifications and procedures in SisDoc, printing controlled copies when necessary.

  • Prepare and review procedures and work instructions, training employees in the respective Quality System procedures when necessary.

  • Enter department requests for maintenance, purchases, and fiscal matters into SAP.

  • Support the EHS department when necessary to meet Quality System requirements.

  • Keep the electronic Gensuite system updated regarding actions for the Quality System.

  • Evaluate indicator results and improvement actions to be taken with processes.

  • Comply with all regulatory and internal EHS and Quality requirements

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a quality or regulated environment
  • Advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Working familiarity with ISO 9001–based Quality Management Systems
  • Internal Auditor training aligned with the current standard

The following are preferred for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Chemistry, or a related discipline
  • Familiarity with EFfCI certification requirements
  • Experience supporting or working within RSPO-certified environments
  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Exposure to Environmental Management systems and practices
  • Experience with Halal and Kosher certification standards
  • Familiarity with FSSC 22000 food safety certification
