Regional Service Engineer (m/f/d) – South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam

Your Responsibilities:

train distributors on maintenance procedures according to Dürr Dental standards
provide full remote and on-site support to distributors for planning, installation, and troubleshooting of technical issues reported by customers
ensure effective follow-up on all reported cases, providing timely solutions and updates
serve as a key liaison between the Service Department at Headquarters and distributors, ensuring smooth communication and operational efficiency
develop and maintain professional relationships with distributors and end users, fostering a collaborative and solution-oriented approach
travel within the region to visit and train distributors, participate in company training at Dürr Dental HQ in Germany, and attend to local service requests
perform proper reporting of field calls, including clear and concise documentation of technical issues, resolutions, and recommendations
adhere to and consult with supervisors regarding technical tasks, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards
continuously improve personal technical skills through self-initiative and support from supervisors, keeping up to date with medical device advancements and industry best practices
ensure a safe work environment at both the office and customer sites, adhering to safety protocols and medical device compliance regulations

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronic Engineering from an accredited university
proven experience in servicing and troubleshooting medical devices, with a strong focus on remote support
proficiency in working with computers, strong networking skills, and an understanding of IT systems related to medical device management
expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with CRM software
proficiency in English (both written and spoken); additional language skills (e.g., Mandarin, Korean) are a plus
strong written and verbal communication abilities with the capacity to effectively convey complex technical information
effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
team player with the ability to work autonomously under pressure
self-motivated with a strong commitment to continuous professional development
driver’s license required and flexibility for frequent travel within the region
