Role
The Reservations Executive – China Market is a vital member of Aman’s Central Reservations team, based in Colombo. This role is responsible for handling reservation enquiries across various platforms, supporting our Chinese-speaking guests and trade partners with exceptional service and professionalism. The role reports to the Reservations Manager and plays a key part in ensuring that all bookings and guest communications meet Aman’s high standards of care, efficiency, and detail.

Responsibilities
- Handle reservation and concierge enquiries from Chinese-speaking guests across all channels.
- Upsell and cross-sell to maximise booking value and conversion.
- Support revenue growth strategies focused on China and Taiwan.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reservation systems.
- Build strong working relationships with Aman properties and corporate colleagues.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on occupancy, conversion, and lead status.
- Maintain updated knowledge of Aman properties, offerings, and market trends.
- Follow up on all guest and trade enquiries in a timely and personalised manner.
- Assist team members in achieving shared sales targets and service quality benchmarks.
- Uphold Aman’s service culture and brand standards in every guest interaction.

Requirements
- Relevant experience in reservations, customer service, or luxury hospitality.
- Hospitality education is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in both Mandarin (or Cantonese) and English.
- Experience with Opera, Fidelio, SynXis, Salesforce or similar systems is a plus.
- Highly organised, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of Chinese luxury travel preferences and market behaviour.
