As a Safety Policies Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the development and continuous improvement of safety policies that directly impact user experience. This position sits at the intersection of data, operations, and policy design, providing a unique opportunity to understand how decisions are translated into scalable processes.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams and leverage data to identify patterns, support decision-making, and improve operational outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, analytical, and eager to learn how to structure problems and translate insights into real business impact.
Role Responsibilities:Supporting the design and update of safety-related procedures, rules, and standards
Assisting in the organization and documentation of policies, guidelines, and case handling processes
Monitoring safety KPIs and supporting data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities
Extracting, organizing, and analyzing data from different sources to support decision-making
Supporting case reviews with a data-driven approach, helping identify root causes and insights
Building and maintaining reports and dashboards (Excel / Google Sheets / BI tools)
Collaborating with cross-functional teams (CX, Operations, Product, etc.) to gather inputs and validate findings
Assisting in the preparation of presentations and reports, translating data into clear insights for stakeholders
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives with a strong analytical mindset
Role Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Business, Economics, Data Science, or related fields)
Strong analytical skills and curiosity to work with data
Ability to structure problems and translate data into insights
Good communication skills, especially in explaining data in a simple and clear way
Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive attitude
Interest in safety, operations, policy design, or process improvement
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Technical skills
Intermediate knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, data organization)
Basic knowledge of SQL or willingness to learn
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
Nice to have
Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Continuous Improvement)
Experience with academic or personal projects involving data analysis
Exposure to fast-paced or dynamic environments
