Join Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) as a Safety Technician onboard an Offshore PSV operating in Brazil. In this role, you will support safe vessel operations, help maintain a strong safety culture, and ensure all work is carried out according to company and maritime safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and promote safe working practices across all decks and work areas
- Conduct routine safety inspections and report hazards and near-misses
- Support implementation of the vessel’s safety management system and procedures
- Assist with risk assessments, toolbox talks, and permits to work
- Participate in safety drills and crew safety training activities
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE and safety equipment
- Keep safety records and documentation updated as required
Requirements
- Proven experience as Safety Technician or similar safety role offshore
- Relevant safety / technical qualification and valid offshore certificates
- Experience on PSV or offshore support vessels preferred
- Good knowledge of maritime and offshore safety rules and procedures
- Strong communication skills and proactive safety mindset
- Ability to work in a mixed-nationality crew and in offshore rotation
- Valid documents to work offshore in Brazil
