What You Can Expect
The Sales admin role is to support and control the sales processes to distributors, from receiving and verifying purchase orders to delivery (Purchase Order, Payment Order, Invoice, Shipping Notice, Pricing, etc.).
This includes all activities involved in onboarding new clients and acting as a liaison between the sales office, the client, and ZB.
How You'll Create Impact
- This professional is responsible for ensuring that the systems and procedures of business processes related to third-party sales are maintained and executed correctly. Prepares reports, presentations, business communications, data summaries and other documents of both a recurring and non-recurring nature.
- The role is responsible for integrating new business partners (accounts), adding transactions to existing partners, organizing business partner activity, setting priorities, resolving issues with business partners, and verifying item availability.
- Coordinate activities and assist in the development and implementation of changes to Zimmer's systems necessary to support all transaction sets and any new electronic transaction sets, such as pricing, discounts for medical-surgical product distributors, administrative fees, electronic commitment letters, advance shipping notices, etc.
- Conduct necessary training to ensure adherence to business processes and identify emerging requirements.
- Also analyze the relationship between sell-in and sell-out for each business partner, evaluating inventory levels and purchase projections.
- Constantly evaluate the overall process and the individual processes of each client. Routinely produce performance and target reports.
- Review all new client requests.
- Assist in various related projects assigned.

- This professional must have a complete understanding of the order-to-receipt/supply chain process, as it relates to business partners, medical-surgical product resellers, and Zimmer's headquarters, to implement electronic processes that reduce costs and drive operational efficiency for all parties involved.
- Must have the ability to work effectively in a team and interact with various departments at all levels. Requires proven verbal and written communication skills with an urgency to be customer focused.
- High level of organizational skill; able to effectively deal with multiple activities/priorities on a timely basis.
- Must perform work with accuracy and have a proven work history of accurate, precise work; detail oriented.
- Process oriented; understands how process steps and users contribute to the end result.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with Distributors and external contacts.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Knowledge of Power BI will be a plus.
Your Background
Education/ Experience Requirements
A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or a related business field is required.
Must have previous experience in Sales Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ideally, they should have knowledge and understanding of international trade (comercio internacional).
Intermediate-advanced level of English - Spanish desirable
Advanced Excel skills. Power BI and Tableau experience preferred.
Strong data control and analysis skills
