SALES DIRECTOR

SUMMARY:
  • Responsible for directing all activities in the vehicle sales area, sales administration, and production programs, leading the organization of sales-related activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage the regional, national, and district Sales teams to ensure the achievement of sales, profit, and commercial targets;
  • Establish and implement leadership support to the industry for the continuous improvement of the dealership organization and the achievement of positive growth in the dealership’s retail business;
  • Direct the development and execution of short- and long-term sales plans and strategies to achieve volume, margin, market share, and customer satisfaction objectives;
  • Lead the organizational development and maintenance of a highly innovative, motivated, aggressive, and effective sales force;
  • Direct the development and implementation of strategies to successfully acquire new markets and new customers;
  • Work on compiling market and competitor industry data to support sales activities and recommend pricing actions, product ideas, service programs, customer training, and successful incentive initiatives;
  • Lead the Sales Administration team in managing vehicle production and billing;
  • Direct the organizational development and maintenance of a highly innovative, motivated, and effective team to create support systems for the sales area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration and/or related areas.
  • Experience: Previous experience of four to five years in the commercial area is desirable.
