About the role
As a SAP TM Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of Transportation Management processes in SAP TM, with a focus on planning, execution, integration, and freight settlement. You will be a valued member of the delivery and AMS teams, collaborating closely with functional and technical teams (ABAP/BTP) across multiple regions to ensure operational stability, continuous improvement, and SLA compliance.
In this role, you will:
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP TM issues related to planning, execution, charge management, and freight settlement.
- Monitor critical SAP TM processes, including:
- Freight Unit Building
- Planning and Optimization
- Freight Order Execution
- Tendering and Carrier Response
- Freight Settlement and FI/MM Integration
- Identify and resolve stuck documents, such as TM integration queue issues and PPF action failures.
- Support background jobs and interfaces between TM, S/4HANA (SD/MM/FI), EWM, and external systems.
- Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP/BTP) to troubleshoot interface issues, enhancements, and integrations with connected systems (S/4HANA, EWM, external carriers).

What you need to have to be considered
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Advanced English.
- Experience in SAP Transportation Management (TM).
- Solid hands-on experience in SAP TM implementation and support/AMS projects.
- Strong knowledge of freight planning, execution, and settlement processes.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting integration issues with:
- S/4HANA (sales orders, deliveries, purchase orders)
- EWM (inbound/outbound processes)
- Solid experience in global support models, managing multi-regional teams, and meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
These will help you stand out
- Advanced knowledge of charge management.
- Experience with month-end freight settlement and clearance processes.
- Familiarity with integration monitoring tools (queues, IDocs, CPI, PPF actions).
- Experience with carrier system integrations or third-party logistics solutions.
