Senior Analyst, Procurement

The team you will be a part of

The Procurement team identifies, researches and evaluates suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply. Recognizes and evaluates sales, promotional campaigns, and other opportunities to secure reduced prices. Assesses supplier's products to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's quality standards.

This role in summary

Leading & Executing sourcing strategy/negotiation for Strategic Components commodity for LAR, with focus on Wire Harness Suppliers.

Your responsibilities will include

• Lead & develop detailed strategic approach to manage Strategic sourcing of Wire Harness commodity;
• Accountable for developing & executing a Category Sourcing Strategy plan;
• Accountable for delivering Net Material cost Price Target for through Negotiations, Hedging of Raw Materials & Fx rate, Pre-buy/Inventory Support, Tariff Mitigation;
• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders within the corporate, suppliers and factory levels to execute sourcing strategies for commodities to drive value and significantly impact bottom-line profitability;
• Perform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements;
• Define and prioritize new supplier development.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree;
• Experience in procurement, supply chain or business;
• Cost management skills;
• Fluent English.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering
• Financial Management and forecasting
• Demonstrate practical use of supplier management and sourcing principles
• Negotiation, conflict resolution and management skills
