The Cloud Engineer works closely with a team focused on spreading the Cloud culture, as well as implementing process improvements that have direct technicians across all squads.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire application lifecycle, including automation and observability.
- Administer domain management of cloud providers.
- Utilize and maintain continuous delivery pipeline (CI/CD) tools.
- Work with various operating systems as part of infrastructure and deployment management.
- Promote and disseminate DevOps/Cloud culture across the organization.
- Communicate clearly and assertively with diverse stakeholders such as engineers, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrate strong teaching and explanatory skills to support collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
- Communication skills: Experience in disseminating the DevOps culture, integrating with development squads, and dialoguing with squad leaders and stakeholders.
- Cloud provider expertise: Microsoft Azure.
- Continuous Integration/Delivery: Azure DevOps.
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS).
- Operating Systems: Expertise in Linux OS and its main distributions, and Windows.
- Versioning: Git, Azure Repos.
- Observability: Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, or equivalents.
- Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python.
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform.
