Join Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) as Senior DPO on a PSV operating offshore Brazil. You will be part of a professional bridge team, ensuring safe and efficient DP operations in a demanding offshore environment.
- Key responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the DP system during all vessel operations
- Plan and execute DP operations in close coordination with the Master and offshore clients
- Maintain DP logs, checklists, and operational records up to company and charterer standards
- Monitor vessel position, weather, and surrounding traffic at all times
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and company policies on the bridge
- Support bridge team in navigation, maneuvering, and emergency drills
- Requirements:
- Valid STCW Deck Officer license appropriate for the position
- Full DP Operator certificate with proven SDPO experience on PSVs
- Recent offshore experience, preferably in Brazil or similar regions
- Strong understanding of DP systems, offshore operations, and safety standards
- Good English communication skills, written and spoken
- Valid offshore medical and mandatory safety training certificates
