About this role
Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)’s Cloud and Software Division is expanding its Device Management and Orchestration capabilities at our Brazil locations. We are seeking a Senior Engineer / Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and evaluation of our intelligent endpoint management platform. This platform monitors, manages, and optimizes device fleets across diverse operating systems using cloud-native services and internal and external vendor-specific plugins.
This role combines deep engineering expertise with leadership in cloud-native architecture, leveraging technologies such as Angular, Java, Spring Boot, C#, Kafka, and AWS.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Architecture
Lead the design and implementation of device orchestration workflows using microservices architecture.
Develop secure, scalable, and resilient services for remote device management across multi-vendor platforms.
Integrate with cloud infrastructure (AWS VPC, EC2, MongoDB, Postgres) and client-side components.
Ensure secure communication via trusted partner protocols and encrypted data flows.
Mentor engineers through design reviews, low-level design ownership, and security readiness.
Cloud-Native Development
Champion architectural reuse and drive platform integration for long-term scalability.
Modernize legacy systems and reduce complexity in device management services.
Propose and lead development of reusable services/components across the cloud and software organization.
Build and deploy services on AWS using EC2, S3, Lambda, and build architecture of managing docking stations and monitors.
Implement Kafka-based messaging and MQTT brokers for real-time device telemetry.
Use Keycloak for authentication and manage access across distributed services.
Collaboration & Leadership
Mentor engineers and lead solution reviews to ensure high-quality implementation.
Collaborate with product managers, cloud architects, and security teams to align technical execution with business goals.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Lead and deliver complex features in device management with exceptional quality and velocity.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in technical leadership roles.
Strong proficiency in:
Frontend: Angular
Backend: Java, Spring Boot, C#
Messaging: Kafka, MQTT
Cloud: AWS (Azure is a plus)
Experience with microservices, secure coding, CI/CD, and cloud-native architecture.
