This position has responsibility for leading and managing ethics and compliance investigations in Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) Americas, with a primary responsibility for Latin America in accordance with the Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) Absolutes.
This is a hybrid opportunity (involves a mix of working remotely and at an Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) physical office location) in Brazil and is an individual contributor role, a key position in our Global Investigations Center of Expertise, reporting to the Senior Director, Ethics & Compliance Investigations Leader, EMEA & Americas. As an Investigator, the candidate will be responsible for leading investigations into a broad range of ethics and compliance allegations/complaints in Americas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive, high quality end-to-end investigations into alleged breaches of the Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) Absolutes, Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) policies and/or applicable laws/regulations and report the results of those investigations to senior management.
- Prepare written investigation plans and reports as required/necessary.
- Maintain confidential procedures for the handling and processing of complaints and allegations.
- Provide regular, comprehensive reporting to management to provide up-to-date progress on investigations. Ensure timely closure of all investigations.
- Convene Disciplinary & Prevention Committees to review and approve recommended discipline arising from verified breaches of the Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) Absolutes/policies/laws and recommended action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Lead investigations in the Americas, with a primary focus in Latin America, facilitating collaboration with and guiding the investigations conducted by others in the regional/local Ethics & Compliance network.
- Work closely with the relevant country/regional lawyers when needed on issues involving potential legal violations or regulatory non-compliances.
- Work closely with the Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) global investigations team, particularly on investigations involving sensitive compliance issues or implicating senior management.
- Provide supervision and training to local Ethics & Compliance staff on investigation procedures and best practices.
- Assist in root cause analyses of selected matters as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Law degree strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years working experience focusing on investigations in a corporate or government environment
- Fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish
