The Role – Senior Manager, Infrastructure (LA)

We are seeking a Senior Manager with strong business acumen and deep understanding of the Infrastructure sector in Brazil to grow our portfolio and lead high-impact client engagements acrossthe country.

This is not a technical engineering delivery role.


It is a client-facing, strategic, business-oriented position—focused on:

  • Developing client relationships in major infrastructure players (concessionaires, construction groups, private equity funds)
  • Understanding sector-specific needs (M&A cycles, auctions, ROI, value creation levers)
  • Positioning Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) offerings such as Contractor Management, Operational Risk, Safety Leadership, Culture Transformation
  • Leading projects, inspiring teams, and influencing senior executives (C-level, investors, board advisors)

You will act as the main interface with clients, lead engagements end-to-end, and help shape new methodologies and offerings tailored for the Infrastructure market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market & Industry Leadership
  • Stay ahead of Infrastructure sector trends (auctions, concessions, regulatory changes, valuation drivers, major players).
  • Understand how PE funds and concessionaires assess and manage operational and cultural risks during due diligence and post-acquisition phases.
  • Identify opportunities to position Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) solutions early in the investment cycle (pre-deal, post-deal, value creation plans).

2. Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Build and manage relationships with key accounts in Infrastructure (roads, rail, airports, ports, mobility, construction groups).
  • Communicate in a value-driven and financial-language mindset (ROI, efficiency, risk reduction, operational resilience).
  • Build proposals, scope definition, commercial strategy, and pipeline development.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership toward an annual sales target (PO).

3. Project & Delivery Leadership

  • Lead transformation and contractor management projects for Infrastructure clients.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery, client satisfaction, and measurable impact.
  • Support and coach junior team members on project delivery, problem-solving, and client interaction.
  • Facilitate client meetings, decision-making sessions, and workshops.

4. Thought Leadership & Offering Development

  • Develop perspectives, methodologies, tools, and points of view for the Infrastructure market.
  • Contribute to global IP generation and disseminate best practices within the Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) network.
  • Work with global teams to integrate Infrastructure offerings into the broader portfolio (Operational Risk, Safety Leadership, Culture Transformation, Digital Enablement).


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or related field
  • 7–10+ years of experience in Infrastructure (e.g., concessionaires, engineering groups, PE-backed infrastructure investments, transportation firms)
  • Prior consulting experience (management consulting strongly preferred)
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate operational risk concepts into financial and strategic insights
  • Experience working directly with senior executives and/or investors
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional project teams
  • Willingness to travel across Brazil and Latin America

Preferred

  • Experience with contractor management, operational risk, capital projects, or infrastructure operations is a differentiator
  • Experience interacting with funds and/or conducting due diligence or value creation projects
  • MBA or post-graduate degree in relevant areas
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus
