Key job responsibilities
  • Support, mentor, and develop your salaried and hourly team members, providing them with the tools and guidance they need to succeed
  • Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact, partnering with other leaders to balance workload and drive results
  • Build and execute productivity plans by conducting forecast reviews, determining productivity requirements, and collaborating with colleagues to optimize operations
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery commitments through data-driven analysis and continuous monitoring

A day in the life
In this role, you'll focus on leading and supporting your team through their shifts while maintaining our commitment to safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You'll spend time on the operations floor engaging with your team, reviewing performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities, and collaborating with colleagues across Safety, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to solve complex operational challenges. You might conduct a forecast review in the morning to determine productivity requirements, lead a project meeting with regional partners to address a workflow bottleneck, and then spend time coaching team members on best practices. Your work spans across our operation's three major components—first mile, middle mile, and last mile—ensuring that customer orders move smoothly from warehouse to doorstep.
