- Serves as a project manager for high-priority projects, applying the enterprise GPPM (Global Project Portfolio Management) processes and procedures. These large projects require oversight of multiple projects or subprojects with their respective project managers as well as managing strategic stakeholders including C-level sponsors.
- Leads the execution of the project within best practices of Agile development fostering incremental delivery, adherence to best practices in Agile related to governance and monitoring, foster complex cross-collaboration amongst functional teams, and actively manage risks and issues within the project.
- Fosters and champions an environment that promotes trust, self-development, continuous improvement, innovation and quality outcomes.
- Ensures a consistent level of quality, accuracy, compliance with GPPM standards, regulations, and internal controls, including:

- Leads the development of project requirements and scope; establishes appropriate metrics for measuring successful delivery of the projects.
- Engages with project teams, business partners and stakeholders frequently on the status of key initiatives with respect to scope, schedule, cost, and resources; presents RAID logs.
- Coaches and counsels members of cross-functional teams to accomplish project goals, meet deadlines, and resolve technical/operational issues.
- Identify and coordinate program critical path changes throughout projects
- Business Alignment – Assess the fit and identify gaps between business needs and processes with the proposed solution
- Technology Alignment – Assess the fit of proposed technologies with current or planned environment / infrastructure
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent is a must.
- Project implementation with proven track record is a must (5Y+)
- Experience within the finance industry is a plus (Banking, insurance, financial services, captive financing or related).
- English language skills (Conversational Spanish -for Brazil- or Portuguese -for Mexico- are a plus)

- Solid understanding of the overall business and corporate objectives and works under broad project direction with the ability to self-define specific tasks
- Excels at administering and coordinating groups of individuals by promoting teamwork, delegating tasks, resolving conflict and setting goals
- Communicates effectively at all levels in written correspondence and in live settings utilizing relevant presentation tools and techniques
- Experience using Waterfall, Agile/Scrum and hybrid methodologies
- Ability to stay on task by managing time and prioritizing responsibilities to maximize productivity and minimize distractions in key project areas
- Manages risks by predicting and creating solutions to issues before they arise
- Understanding of basic accounting principles to ensure projects remain within budgetary parameters
- Takes a hands-on approach to project work and is adaptable in terms of style and activities undertaken
- Creating and delivering effective presentations
- Comprehensive PC based tools knowledge (particularly Planview Workfront, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Experience with business case preparation, cost benefit analysis and project execution
- Advanced knowledge and experience with PPM software tool; Planview experience preferred
Maintains awareness of industry trends, practices, techniques and emerging technologies related to the project management discipline.
