Área: Tecnologia da Informação

Nível: Gerente

At Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)®, our Platform team builds the foundation our SaaS products run on: GCP, Kubernetes, microservices, event-driven, Go, multi-tenant by design.

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who wants to build the platform and raise the bar of the team building it with you, not just own a backlog. This is roughly 70% hands-on engineering and 30% technical leadership. You will ship code to production every week, and you will be the person others go to when a design decision is hard. If your goal is to stop writing code, this is not the role. If your goal is to become the technical reference of a team while staying deep in the craft, it is.

AI is not a side note here, it's how we build. Specs and context before code, agentic workflows carrying real implementation work, and humans owning the judgment, the design, and the review. We want someone who already works this way and can multiply it: their own output first, then the whole team's.

If you're proactive, take ownership of what you build, and care more about real results than buzzwords, you'll feel at home here.

Responsibilities

  • Build & Lead in Production: Design and implement services end-to-end in Go on our platform, continuously from contract to production.

  • Own Architecture & System Design: Take ownership of service boundaries, contracts, versioning, failure modes, eventual consistency, and multi-tenant isolation.

  • Multiply Delivery with AI: Orchestrate coding agents and agentic workflows to carry real implementation work, holding a high quality bar because you know exactly what to verify.

  • Lead AI-Driven Engineering Practices: Establish specs before code, version context and guardrails in the repo, maintain strict review discipline for generated code, and know when (and when not) to delegate work to agents.

  • Create Internal Developer Tooling: Build reusable context, skills, agents, and workflows that make the broader team faster and more autonomous.

  • Set and Hold the Technical Bar: Drive impactful design reviews, conduct code reviews that teach rather than gatekeep, and maintain documentation and conventions the team actually reuses.

  • Mentor and Grow Engineers: Pair, unblock, and mentor team members on purpose — treating engineer growth as a core deliverable of the role, not an afterthought.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with infrastructure teams as a competent consumer, align with product on scope, sequencing, and trade-offs, and translate technical decisions into plain language for product, support, and leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience building and running systems in production at a true senior level.

  • Production Backend Depth: Strong hands-on experience, preferably in Go (our platform language), or equivalent depth in another language with a proven track record under real load.

  • Real, Demonstrable Experience: You can walk us through projects you actually worked on — what you did, how you did it, and what changed because of it.

  • AI as a Core Workflow: Daily fluency with coding agents (Claude Code or equivalent) — you know how to write specs, feed context, validate output, and spot where these tools fail.

  • Agentic Workflows in Production: Practical experience using or building multi-step agent workflows for real features (not just demos), with clear judgment on where human oversight belongs.

  • Team Force Multiplication: Ability to turn your personal AI practices into team-wide standards and adoption.

  • Microservices Architecture: Experience defining service boundaries, versioning contracts without breaking consumers, and handling partial failures (timeouts, retries, backpressure).

  • Event-Driven Systems: Hands-on experience dealing with the hard parts: idempotency, at-least-once delivery, ordering, retries, dead letter queues, and eventual consistency.

  • App-Level Cloud & Kubernetes: You write stateless services that behave gracefully when scheduled, restarted, or scaled horizontally, and can follow logs, metrics, and traces across systems when production degrades.

  • Track Record of Mentorship: Clear examples of mentoring engineers (by name and outcome), using code reviews as teaching opportunities, and authoring technical content others build upon.

  • Advanced English: Fluent technical writing and conversation skills to collaborate with global peers and leadership.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS at scale (provisioning, noisy neighbors, per-tenant metering, data isolation strategies).

  • Track record of migrating monoliths into microservices.

  • Experience building custom AI tooling (MCP servers, custom agents, reusable skills, evals for generated output).

  • Proficiency with gRPC, protobuf, and messaging brokers like NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Pub/Sub.

  • Observability experience with OpenTelemetry and conceptual understanding of service meshes like Istio.

  • Domain background in security, identity, or compliance.

  • Public work (open-source contributions, technical writing, talks, or personal projects).
