As a Service & Repair Technician IV here at Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados), you will lead and oversee the organization's repair and overhaul maintenance operations, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with industry standards and regulations. With a strategic mindset, you will develop and implement comprehensive repair and overhaul strategies, policies, and procedures, optimizing budget and resources.
In this role, you will impact the organization by fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance to the maintenance team, and continuously monitoring performance metrics for process enhancement. Your proven experience in a leadership role within the field, coupled with a strong educational background in engineering, will be crucial as you drive the team towards excellence, safety, and quality.
- Interpret component maintenance manuals, service bulletins required to perform the repair tasks.
- Prioritize and process units in order to meet customer due date.
- Perform a preliminary inspection and test the article to confirm customer reason for removal, fault isolation, disassembly, cleaning, and component inspection.
- Determine the material and estimated man-hours required for maintenance and provide warranty considerations.
- Repair, assemble, and conduct in-process inspection on article in accordance with required technical data.
- Perform final test of article in accordance with approved data to determine eligibility for return to service.
- Process units in accordance with Quality Management System and Repair Station/Quality Manual.
- Complete required documentation as described in the repair station/quality manual.
- Verify if the test equipment calibration is not expired.
- Inspect articles and documentation to prepare for return to service.
- Dirve 5S principles and support on continuous improvement activities within area of responsibility.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 18 months of Avionic repair experience
- Be familiar with the applicable regulations and proficient in inspection methods of the work performed and approved for return to service
- Experience with SMD rework/soldering
- Technical degree on avionics, electronics or equivalent; or 24 months experience on avionics or electronics repairing (preferred)
- Advanced English
