What you will do:
- Architect, build, and maintain robust automated test suites using Playwright
- Act in a strategic hybrid role: set up a high-level test automation foundation and progressively transition into core product feature development
- Collaborate directly with software engineering squads to embed quality and automation coverage from the ground up
- Integrate and support automated test execution within CI/CD delivery pipelines
- Investigate complex execution issues, trace root causes in the codebase, and drive continuous architectural improvements
What we are looking for:
- Solid background as a Software Engineer, with a developer mindset focused on writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code
- Advanced English for fluent technical and business communication
- Deep, practical experience in test automation using Playwright
- Solid experience in the .NET ecosystem (C#, .NET Core/6+, and Web APIs) for both test automation development with Playwright and application logic
- Ability to proactively identify automation opportunities and design E2E testing strategies
- Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and delivery integration
- Collaborative and continuous-improvement mindset, with enthusiasm for both test architecture and hands-on software development
Nice to have:
- Experience with other modern web automation frameworks (such as Cypress)
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and cross-functional engineering squads
- Knowledge of unit and integration testing frameworks in .NET (xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest)
- Prior experience in roles that bridged test automation (SDET) and product feature development
