What you will do
- You will report to the Engineering Manager
- Lead the design and development of scalable, backend APIs and services that integrate with cloud services, with a focus on IBM Cloud
- Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and Partner teams to understand requirements and design interfaces that are intuitive and maintainable
- Guide the evolution of Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)'s managed service capabilities in cloud environments, specifically IBM Cloud
- Influence long-term architecture and technical direction for Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)'s integrations with IBM Cloud (IAM, authn/authz, service-to-service patterns, resiliency)
- Champion quality, simplicity, and clarity in system design, API design, and data modeling
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, mentorship, and raising engineering standards
What you will bring with you
- Understanding of API best practices: versioning, backward compatibility, consistency, and access control
- We appreciate interest in Cloud Security (CSPM/CDR/CIEM), but do not require it.
- Proficiency with standard engineering tools (CI/CD pipelines, version control, containerization)
