Amazon Brazil is growing at an exceptional rate, and we are looking for a talented, commercially driven professional to join our Retail Vendor Management team. This is a unique role that sits at the intersection of commercial vendor management and tax strategy.
As a Tax & Commercial Vendor Manager, you will manage vendor relationships across all retail product families, with a strong focus on identifying and capturing tax optimization opportunities that drive margin improvement at scale. You will work closely with the Tax Planning, Finance, and Vendor Management teams to build a best-in-class tax assessment framework and translate fiscal opportunities into concrete commercial outcomes.

As a Tax & Commercial Vendor Manager, you will manage vendor relationships across all retail product families, with a strong focus on identifying and capturing tax optimization opportunities that drive margin improvement at scale. You will work closely with the Tax Planning, Finance, and Vendor Management teams to build a best-in-class tax assessment framework and translate fiscal opportunities into concrete commercial outcomes.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage and develop strategic vendor relationships across retail product families, acting as the primary commercial interface for tax-related negotiations and initiatives
- Lead tax opportunity assessments for top vendors, partenering with the Tax Planning and Finance teams to build and scale a vendor tax assessment framework applicable across retail categories
- Develop deep expertise in Brazilian tax regulation as it applies to retail and wholesale acquisition, becoming the go-to reference for tax-commercial integration within Vendor Management
- Analyze P&L and margin structures across vendor portfolios, identifying gaps and opportunities driven by fiscal inefficiencies
- Report on key metrics and performance indicators to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Tax, Instock, Pricing) to ensure tax opportunities are operationalized and tracked end-to-end
Who We're Looking For
- High commercial acumen with a strong understanding of vendor negotiations and retail P&L dynamics
- Deep knowledge of Brazilian tax regulation applied to retail, including indirect taxes (ICMS, PIS/COFINS), tax credits, and fiscal incentive structures
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex fiscal scenarios into business decisions
- Ability to influence and negotiate with senior vendor stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams
- Strong ownership mentality — comfortable driving ambiguous, high-impact initiatives end-to-end
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex tax and commercial topics clearly to senior leadership
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Excel and extracting data through varied reporting tools in order to drive and influence business decisions
- Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership
- Experience in commercial roles (vendor management, category management, key account management) with exposure to tax or fiscal topics
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proven track record of identifying and capturing tax-driven margin opportunities at scale
