Position Summary:
We are looking for an Assistant Teacher to provide pedagogical and administrative support in the classroom. The professional will assist the lead teacher in planning and executing educational activities, ensuring a welcoming and effective learning environment for students.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in conducting lessons and developing educational activities.
- Support and guide students in their assignments and projects.
- Help organize teaching materials and maintain a structured learning environment.
- Assist in managing classroom discipline and monitoring student behavior.
- Aid in recording grades, attendance, and other academic documentation.
- Communicate with parents and guardians when necessary, under the guidance of the lead teacher.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development training.
Requirements:
- Degree in Education (completed or in progress) or related fields.
- Previous classroom experience is a plus.
- Ability to work with children and collaborate within a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organization and proactivity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with active learning methodologies.
- English (Intermediate)
