About the Role
The Technical Product Manager, Drive Systems is responsible for the strategy, definition, development, and lifecycle management of the electric drive systems used in Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados) solar trackers. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, business, and customer needs, and requires deep technical understanding combined with strong product leadership.
You will work cross-functionally to ensure our motor, gearbox, and drive solutions deliver best-in-class performance, reliability, and compliance while aligning with Confidencial (Apenas para Cadastrados)’s broader product and business objectives.
What You’ll Do
Own the full product lifecycle for electric motor, gearbox, and drive solutions—from concept and requirements definition through development, testing, launch, and continuous improvement.
Partner closely with engineering teams to define and deliver industry-leading drive systems informed by market trends, customer requirements, and emerging technologies.
Develop and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall platform strategy and adjacent product releases.
Define, track, and analyze product performance metrics and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and clearly communicate business value.
Engage directly with customers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather, prioritize, and translate requirements into actionable product specifications.
Create and maintain product documentation, including technical specifications, application notes, and user-facing materials related to drive systems, power electronics, and controls.
Serve as a subject-matter expert on applicable standards, codes, and regulations related to drive systems and controls in renewable energy applications.
Ensure product compliance with regional and global regulatory requirements across multiple markets.
What You’ll Need (Required)
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
Strong technical foundation in mechanical and electromechanical systems, including motors, gearboxes, and motion control technologies.
4+ years of experience in product management, product development engineering, or technical business analysis within motor systems, industrial equipment, or renewable energy industries.
Demonstrated success managing technical products from concept through commercialization.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, operations, commercial, and customer-facing teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Experience working in the solar or broader renewable energy industry.
